‘Futuremakers x Liverpool FC’ Collection | Standard Chartered

Every football fan remembers collecting football cards growing up - and the thrill of finding that one special card to complete their collection. We tapped into that to raise funds for Standard Chartered’s charity initiative - Futuremakers.

 
 

 

For over 8 years, Standard Chartered had been raising funds for its Futuremakers initiative
by swapping out their exclusive front-of-shirt logo asset during one big game,
and putting those match-worn jerseys on auction, hoping that fans would bid. Problem was -
many fans already had signed shirts, and the auction would only take off if the Reds’ won the match.

 
 

The mechanic was getting a bit tired, so Standard Chartered challenged us to find a way to break records for funds raised.
We leveraged a fan insight - the thrill of finding and collecting football cards - and created a series of
one-of-one life-sized football cards, featuring a match-worn shirt and exclusive EAFC match-specific statistics.
