Emails aren’t the most exciting things in the world. But for Samsung SEA, CDM is a key channel from the brand to its users - allowing them to stay in touch to communicate new products, offer tips & tricks, and inspire its audience to create the future.
So, when we came onboard, we helped Samsung overhaul its CDM creatives - shifting it from pure information bulletins talking about tech specs, to entertaining short stories that grounded their products and highlighted how their innovations can really help users ‘Do What They Can’t’.
Bold. Playful. Unexpected.
This is how we turned information into modules of entertaining content.
Turning Info into Entertainment.
It’s exhausting opening up your inbox. Everything needs your ‘urgent’ attention. It’s overwhelming. And it’s simpler to just hit delete. So instead of adding on to the chore, what if we made emails a little more fun? Where each email is not another to-read or to-do, Where each email is not another to-read or to-do, but something to entertain.
By redesigning the important elements of the EDM, we are able to create opportunities to be more creative, despite the pre-conceived notion that “emails are boring and they go straight to the trash”.
